As a recovering people-pleaser, one of my deepest wounds is viewing myself through the fears and insecurities of other people. My former therapist and I spent significant amounts of time reframing my view of myself and how I present that view to the world.
If this resonates with you, please join me here every Thursday for a little Healing Self-Talk.
Today’s healing words:
My presence is a privilege, not a burden. This is true in both personal and professional settings.
My needs are worthy of healthy attention and action. This is also true in both personal and professional settings.
I am not a burden!
All of this can be difficult to accept, especially when imposter syndrome crashes the party. But, I continue reminding myself that my life (difficult moments and all) is worthy of validation and respect from me and those around me.
What are you saying to and about yourself today?
